Light Therapy FAQ
What is led light therapy?
Light therapy (or photobiomodulation) uses Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology and the application of light to the body for an array of therapeutic benefits. It was discovered by scientists at NASA to help speed up healing and promotes a natural photo-biochemical reaction similar to the process of plant photosynthesis.
What are the benefits of led light therapy?
LED light therapy has been shown to support cellular metabolism, stimulate collagen production and advance the repair and renewal of damaged skin cells. Other research-proven results include the smoothing of the skin, a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial hyperpigmentation as well as an improvement in the skin’s firmness and resilience. LED light therapy also increases lymphatic system activity and the restoration of the skin’s natural cellular activity.
Who is led light therapy for?
LED light therapy is suitable for all skin types. The mask should not be used on children under 12 or anyone with an allergy to silicone.
Frequently What does LED light therapy treat?

Does LED light therapy have any side effects?
It is considered extremely low risk when used as directed. It is non-ablative, non-invasive, painless, and requires absolutely no downtime.
